FREE Jazz at the Beach Concert: The Bob Sneider Trio

For the second year in a row, The Summit will be sponsoring Jazz at the Beach, a FREE series of monthly jazz concerts from May through November presented by Jazz90.1 and the Ontario Beach Park Committee.  All performances begin at 7:00 pm and take place on the second Tuesday of each month at Tropix, 4775 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612.

Admission to these family-friendly concerts is FREE. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

On Tuesday, November 12th, the Bob Sneider Trio will perform.

Before joining the Eastman faculty in late 1997, Bob Sneider toured for several years with two-time Grammy-winner Chuck Mangione. Other notable performers with whom Sneider has performed, toured, or recorded include Nat Adderley, Joe Locke, Don Menza, Lou Donaldson, Joey DeFrancesco, Pat Bianchi, Gary Versace, Pat LaBarbara, Grant Stewart, Ken Peplowski, Gerry Niewood, Chris Potter, Roy McCurdy, Eric Alexander, David Hazeltine, Frank Strazzerri, Jon Faddis, Keeter Betts and frequent appearances with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Pops(guitar/banjo). Sneider has performed in major festivals, concert halls and jazz clubs throughout South America, Central America, North America, and Europe. Sneider is a graduate of the University of Rochester where he studied with Bill Dobbins and Ramon Ricker.
